WatchPeace Out Productions just released the trailer to their new documentary “Survival, Strength, Starting Over”. We are all really excited about the film over at the Center because it really focuses on the residents of St. Bernard Parish who often go overlooked when compared to other victims of the storm. The Numbers are in!
With the help of some incredible volunteers today we cranked the numbers on how many people we helped in July, and exactly how we helped them. The Mustard Seed food pantry is one of the most popular services at the Community Center, and this week we gave out almost 24,000 lbs of food to more then 1600 individuals.
